A group of inventors creates a time machine, only to have it fall into the wrong hands. The extremists use it to alter the course of history, attempting to kill Jesus and his followers before the Resurrection. The inventors must then travel back in time to prevent the catastrophe, navigating the treacherous past while interacting with biblical figures and racing against the clock to restore the original timeline and prevent the apocalypse.
