Jack Benny, a radio star, is challenged by his rival Fred Allen to prove his claims of living on a ranch in Nevada for the summer. Meanwhile, singer Joan Cameron, who Jack has fallen for, is sent to the same town by her sisters. As Jack tries to prove his manhood to Joan, he gets into a series of comedic misadventures that parody Western cliches.
