Captain William "Buck" Rogers, piloting his space shuttle Ranger 3, is frozen in orbit for 500 years after a meteor storm. In 2491, his shuttle is found by the Draconian flagship, and he is revived. Buck is arrested and learns that Earth has been rebuilt after a nuclear holocaust. He must adjust to the 25th century and convince the Terrans that the Draconians plan to conquer Earth.
