Candiland

Failed tennis star Peter struggles to rebuild his life after a car accident ends his career. He's angry at the world's consumerist values and his controlling father, Arnie, who was absent during his mother's dying days. Peter finds solace in a love affair with Tess, a recently-divorced and grieving woman. They create their own reality, isolating themselves in Peter's apartment, but their possessive love descends into savagery when Arnie tries to reconnect with his son and end their escape.
