Ashley, a commercial real estate broker, and Scott, a junior hockey player, both arrive in Idaho Falls around Christmas, having recently broken up with their partners. Ashley is trying to get her career back on track, while Scott hopes to make it to the NHL. They meet when Scott moves into the Durreaus' guest house, and as they work towards their goals, they may discover that their aspirations aren't what they truly want, but rather expectations they've placed on themselves as they start to fall for each other.
