Rachel Davis, a talented event planner, is given an unexpected break to return to her hometown in Tennessee for Christmas. She meets Luke Hackman, the Director of Operations at Dollywood, and they are both surprised to be appointed co-organizers of the theme park's 30th anniversary event. Despite their initial disagreements, they work together to make the event a success, and along the way, they develop feelings for each other. However, their budding romance is complicated by their diverging career goals, with Rachel aiming for a higher position in her company in New York City and Luke torn between a sure thing as GM at Wild West Amusements in Atlanta and his heart's desire to stay at Dollywood.
