In 18th century England, a mysterious figure descends upon a rural town inhabited by outlaws, prostitutes, and other unsavory characters. He offers a hefty sum for a local nobleman's documents. Shortly after, a beautiful young woman arrives, searching for this very individual. Neither she nor the stranger is what they appear to be. A highwayman caught in the middle soon finds his life spiraling out of control as a dark and sinister force takes hold.
