It's been years since the rescue of Winter by the Clearwater Marine Hospital team, led by Dr. Clay Haskett. Winter's unique prosthetic tail, designed by Dr. Cameron McCarthy, saved her life. However, their fight is not over. Winter's surrogate mother, Panama, has passed away, leaving her without a poolmate. According to USDA regulations, Winter must be paired with another dolphin, as social behavior requires it. Time is running out to find a companion before the team loses Winter to another aquarium.
