In a government-funded project, psychics are trained to enter people's dreams with the aid of mechanical technology. However, when a subject dies in his sleep from a heart attack, Alex Gardner becomes suspicious that another psychic is using their powers to kill people in the dreams, causing their deaths to occur in real life. As he delves deeper, he must find a way to stop the abuse of this power.
