Two travelers, David Moore and Brian, embark on a perilous journey through East Africa to reach a crucial railway construction site. Despite initial reluctance, they secure the services of Jack Cuortemayn, a renowned guide. However, Cuortemayn's reservations about the project's impact on local communities prompt him to withdraw. As Moore scrambles to find alternative arrangements, he crosses paths with Ruth Knight, a seasoned local who has dedicated her life to medical work. Their adventure takes a dramatic turn when Ruth is kidnapped by slave traders, leaving Moore, Brian, and Cuortemayn to band together and launch a daring rescue mission.
