In 1938, Dr. Ho, the Chinese Consul in Vienna, secretly issues exit visas to many Jews, defying his superiors' orders. As the Gestapo closes in on them, Dr. Ho, along with Fannia and Bruce, must flee Vienna to escape capture. Along the way, they learn to defend themselves against the Nazi regime, embracing the motto "A Good Nazi is a Dead Nazi."
