Franky Winter and Ballas Kohl have been best friends since high school, just like their parents. However, Franky's life takes a dramatic turn when he realizes his feelings for men, particularly his father's partner Brendan. Franky and Ballas are popular students and swim team members, with Ballas being the captain. Despite having his choice of girls, Franky chooses to date Cil, but things don't go as planned. After a drunken night out with Ballas, they start a romantic encounter, which becomes public knowledge. Franky is ostracized by his friends, including Cil and Ballas, due to his perceived homosexuality.
