In 1950s California, Danny Zuko, the leader of the T-Birds, and Sandy Olsson, a sweet Australian girl, fall in love at the beach. Unbeknownst to each other, they both attend Rydell High, where they must navigate their relationships with rival groups, the Pink Ladies, led by Rizzo.
