In 1957 Alabama, a group of sorority sisters at Randolph College are sheltered from the turmoil of the Civil Rights movement, living a life of luxury and comfort. However, their world is turned upside down when one of them, Maggie, meets a progressive photographer who sparks a sense of awareness about the impending changes in the South, and a classmate who shares radical ideas.
