In the Wishing Well Sanatorium, a young boy named Gregory witnesses the brutal murder of the beloved "King of the Ice Cream". Years later, he's interned again when Nurse Wharton becomes his tutor, and she helps him reopen the ice cream factory. But when another boy, Roger Smith, goes missing, suspicion falls on Gregory. As the investigation unfolds, a group of kids, including Johnny, Heather, and Tuna, uncover a dark secret: Gregory is hiding Small Paul in his ice cream truck.
