Izzy and Moe, two retired vaudeville performers, turn to Prohibition Enforcement Agents after being laid off. Initially, they face scorn from fellow Agents who see them as old men pretending to be cops. However, they prove themselves to be effective agents, using their theatrical skills to outsmart criminals with a variety of disguises and tricks. Their success attracts the attention of the mob and corrupt cops, who will stop at nothing to take them down.
