In the biblical story, Isaac's twin sons Esau and Jacob have contrasting personalities. Esau is a strong and fearless hunter, while Jacob is a tender and compassionate shepherd. Rebekah, their mother, believes Jacob is the chosen one and rightful heir, and convinces him to deceive their blind father Isaac to obtain the blessing meant for Esau.
