In the biblical epic film, Samson, a powerful and charismatic leader, is destined to bring down the Philistine empire. Born to a barren woman, Mara, who is told by an angel that she will bear a son who will fight the Philistines, Samson grows up with incredible strength. He becomes a hero to the Israelites, killing numerous Philistines with his bare hands. However, his strength is tied to his uncut hair, and he is warned by the angel not to cut it or drink alcohol. As Samson's fame grows, he becomes a symbol of hope for the Israelites, and he begins to attract the attention of the Philistine royal family, particularly the beautiful and cunning Delilah. Delilah is promised wealth and jewels if she can seduce Samson and discover the secret of his strength. Samson falls deeply in love with Delilah, and she eventually learns the secret of his strength from him. With his hair cut, Samson's strength is taken away, and he is captured by the Philistines. They blind him and force him to perform labor. However, Samson prays to God, and his hair begins to grow back. He eventually regains his strength and is able to fulfill his destiny. Samson's final act of defiance is to bring down the Philistine temple, killing himself and many Philistines in the process. The film ends with Samson's sacrifice being seen as a triumph for the Israelites, and his legacy lives on as a hero of faith.
