Kundun

The film follows the life of the 14th Dalai Lama, tracing his journey from childhood to adulthood as he navigates the challenges of growing up under Chinese occupation and overcomes various obstacles.

The Dalai Lama, also known as "Kundun", or "The Presence", was forced to flee his native Tibet after communist China invaded and imposed a repressive regime on the peaceful nation. He escaped to India in 1959 and has been living in exile in Dharamsala ever since.
