Lal Singh, a kind-hearted man, grows up in a poor neighborhood in Bombay, known as Lal Badshah for his good deeds. He clashes with Vikram Singh, a powerful Don, who seeks to rule the city with his brother, a corrupt police officer. Lal falls in love with Kiran, an insurance agent, and they plan to marry. Meanwhile, Vikram's father, Dayal Singh, searches for the treasure of a murdered Maharaja, which is hidden by the Maharaja's son, Ranbir Singh.
