Lal Patthar background

Lal Patthar

A nobleman's infatuation with a village girl sparks a quest to mold her into his perfect match, delving into the intricate relationships between social status and personal identity.

Raja Kumar Bahadur, a man of strong convictions, has always avoided vices and maintained a pure life. However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he falls in love with Saudamani and buys her to make her his own. He renames her Madhuri and lavishes her with love and luxuries, but refuses to marry her. Years later, he marries Sumita, a young woman half his age, after paying off her family's debts. Kumar brings Sumita home, making it clear that Madhuri's word is law. But when he discovers Sumita's past with childhood sweetheart Shekhar, now returned from abroad, Kumar's jealousy and insecurity drive him to plot against the young lovers at the historic Fatehpur Sikhri, where the tombs of Badshah Akbar's wives lie.
