Artist Blake, overwhelmed by fame, obligations, and isolation, flees to the woods, seeking solitude. He swims in a spring, then returns to his neglected mansion, avoiding those seeking him. As his time runs out, Blake spends his days alone, dodging those who only want something from him. He visits a rock club, wanders in the woods, and plays a final song, before finding release in the greenhouse.
