In a poor Arab neighborhood, a talented 19-year-old writer named Chimo lives with his mother. He's offered a chance to study in Paris, but his mother can't afford it. Chimo's friends are a group of misfits, and when a beautiful new girl named Lila moves in, one of his friends becomes infatuated with her. Chimo becomes close to Lila, who shares her sexual experiences with him, and he falls in love with her.
