Marigold background

Marigold

An American actress abandons her glamorous Hollywood lifestyle to fully immerse herself in the vibrant world of Indian cinema, exchanging the red carpet for the vibrant streets of India.

Marigold, born in America, was the only child in the Lexton family after her mother's untimely death. Despite her father's disapproval, she pursued a career in acting, landing small roles in low-budget movies and sequels. After being cast in Kama Sutra 3, Marigold traveled to Mumbai and then Goa, where she discovered the film had been canceled and she was stranded with no money to return home. She secured a singing and dancing role in Manoj Sharma's film and met Prem Rajput, a dance instructor who believed his grandmother had foretold their meeting and marriage. As they grew closer, Marigold accompanied Prem to his family's Jodhpur estate for his sister's wedding, only to learn that he was part of a royal family and was already engaged to Jhanvi, with no one daring to defy tradition or arranged marriages.
