Vice President Dave Bennett is sent to a branch office to investigate a mysterious increase in savings by a customer, Charles Patterson. When Charles declines a promotion and falls ill, his wife Barbara takes over his role, but strange discrepancies in the accounts lead Dave to suspect foul play.
