Mystic River

In 1975 Boston, three friends, Dave, Jimmy, and Sean, are playing when Dave is abducted and sexually abused. Traumatized, Dave grows up with the event's lasting impact. Years later, Jimmy's daughter Katie is found dead, and Dave becomes the prime suspect. As detective Sean investigates, he confronts his own past and present demons, and the truth about Katie's murder unfolds.
