In "Niagra, Niagra", Marcie, a charming and unconventional heroine, begins her journey in a Poughkeepsie drugstore, where she develops a knack for shoplifting. She accidentally collides with Seth, a reserved outsider, who is also on a shoplifting spree. Marcie invites Seth to join her on a road trip to Canada to find a black hairstyling head, and they set off in Seth's old station wagon, bound for a toy store in Toronto. Along the way, Marcie opens up to Seth about her struggles with Tourette's syndrome, leading to a series of unexpected detours to liquor stores and pharmacies in upstate New York.
