Joe Martin, an unemployed and unhappy man, struggles to provide for his wife Sarah until he answers a classified ad for superheroes. Despite having no superpowers, he bluffs his way onto the team and finds himself fighting real crime alongside actual superheroes. As he navigates his new role, Joe must also confront his insecurities at home and find the courage to save his city and his marriage from the evil Lord Menace.
