Detective McGuin, a laid-back and Leslie Nielsen-like detective, and his partner McBride, a sock monster, interrogate Beng, a sock monster and partner of the recently deceased Vicky Tim. Beng is volatile and hostile towards "fleshies", including the detectives. As they present crime scene photos, it seems they have Beng cornered, with a history of anger issues, a troubled relationship with the victim, and a motive. However, just as they think they've got him, Beng requests a lawyer, causing chaos in the room.
