The movie Oddly Coupled, originally titled Betta Betta in the Wall, Who's the Fattest Fish of All, follows the story of Hobart Moore, a shy and skinny young man who is kidnapped by a group of girls and taken to their home to be a potential boyfriend for Gertie, an obese nymphomaniac. The girls, including Gloria, Didi, and Sheri, try to interest Hobart in sex, but he is more interested in fish. The movie features a number of bizarre and humorous scenes, including the girls watching home videos of normal people having sex and Gertie's over-the-top reactions whenever the word "sex" is mentioned. The movie also features a hallucinogenic scene shot through a fish tank where a naked woman beckons, which is Hobart's fantasy.
