Four police officers, including main character Becky Rooks, struggle with Survivor's Guilt. Becky's past demons resurface as she experiences a false sense of invincibility while working as an officer. However, a traumatic event during a routine traffic stop shakes her sense of security, leading her to join an online predator team to help those in danger. Each life she saves sends her further down a path of self-destructive behavior, as she grapples with the guilt of still being alive and the burden of her second chance.
