A young boy discovers a new sense of belonging in Canada when he moves in with his aunt, and teams up with a group of unlikely allies to defend their community against a threatening ski resort.

Ryan Reynolds stars as Jeffrey, a young boy who moves to Canada to live with his aunt Charlotte after his father's passing. He joins forces with his aunt and friends to stage a non-violent hunger strike to save her house from being torn down to make way for a ski resort.
