In the harsh winter of 1839, a local jailer named Samuel Tillery is tasked with overseeing Missouri's most wanted prisoners, who are awaiting their trial. As tensions rise between the prisoners' desperation to survive and the locals' determination to remove them, Tillery is pushed to his limits.
