The movie follows the story of Paul, who is forced to leave his lover Michelle and their baby behind after the police locate his workplace. Three years later, Paul sets out to find Michelle, who has moved on with another man, and eventually succeeds in rekindling their love. However, their happiness is short-lived as they face financial struggles and personal challenges, including an unexpected abortion.
