In the vibrant Puerto Rican barrio, Rico, a charismatic car mechanic, is obsessed with becoming the Salsa king at La Luna's nightclub. By day, he works on cars, but by night, he dances and dates stunning women. He sets his sights on Lola, his classmate, and encourages his best friend Ken to date his sister Margarita. However, his plans are disrupted when the reigning Salsa queen, Luna, shows interest in partnering with Rico, threatening his on-again, off-again relationship with Vicki. As Ken and Margarita fall deeply in love, jealousy and trouble ensue.
