In the lawless town of Goldville, a notorious gang, masterminded by the charismatic and cunning Ace Benton, is hijacking gold shipments with a sinister motive: to manipulate the town's property rights and dominate the community as the railroad approaches.

In the town of Goldville, a gang led by Ace Benton, a seemingly respectable citizen, has been hijacking gold shipments. Benton's ultimate goal is to all acquire the town's property, knowing that a railroad line is planned to pass through the area. To stop Benton, U.S. Marshals Nevada Jack McKenzie and Sandy Hopkins are sent to Goldville, with Sandy posing as a preacher. As they work to foil Benton's plans, they must navigate a complex web of relationships and rivalries, including a romantic connection between Dan Baxter and Jane Simms, the daughter of a struggling mine owner.
