In early colonial rule, a powerful chieftain named Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy leads a rebellion against the East India Company's brutal tactics. He raids British Army camps, defeating them and becoming a major threat to colonial rule. The British offer a massive reward for his capture, but he evades capture for a long time, using guerrilla warfare to continue his attacks. As the British struggle to defeat him, they resort to underhanded tactics, including using spies to infiltrate his ranks. Despite his bravery, Reddy's family is eventually captured, prompting him to rescue them at gunpoint. Ultimately, an informant betrays him, and the British capture Reddy, treating him as a common criminal.
