Frank Michaelson, a respected education leader, is addressing a Board hearing to respond to allegations of impropriety, fueled by newspaper stories and photographs. He attributes the incidents to his daughter Mollie, now a young woman, who transformed from a sweet child to a desirable young woman after attending college in New England and Paris. Frank struggled to let go of Mollie and felt the need to protect her, even if she didn't want or need it. His issues were complicated by encounters with a quirky Englishman and paparazzi who mistook him for American actor James Stewart.
