The mid 1960s. Two estranged brothers, John Joe and Jimmy McMahon, lead their own ceili bands in Ireland and Liverpool, respectively. Their feud stems from a past dispute over a woman, and they've never been closer to reconciliation. As they prepare to face off at the annual Irish music festival, old rivalries and new romantic entanglements threaten to derail their chance at redemption.
