Patrick Bergin is a highly accomplished actor with an extensive career spanning over 80 film and television productions. He is internationally recognized for his chilling portrayal of the menacing husband of Julia Roberts' character in the thriller Sleeping With the Enemy, as well as his role as an Irish terrorist alongside Harrison Ford in the film adaptation of Patriot Games.
Throughout his career, Bergin has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented actors in the industry. He starred opposite Uma Thurman in the 1991 TV movie "Robin Hood," taking on the iconic title role, and brought to life the character of a psychotic Provisional Irish Republican Army gunman in the film Johnny Was, alongside Vinnie Jones and Roger Daltrey.
More recently, Bergin has appeared in a variety of projects, including Age of Kill, We Still Steal the Old Way, Free Fire, Black Bird, and The Last Days of American Crime. His recent television credits include guest leading roles on ITVs "Wild Bill" and Channel 4's "No Offence," as well as playing series regular Jim Tierney in the fourth series of "Red Rock" for TV3/BBC One and Aidan Maguire in "EastEnders" for BBC One.
