The Chase

In a small town, Sheriff Calder's integrity is questioned by the wealthy oil-man Val Rogers, who many believe holds significant influence over the sheriff. When local outlaw Bubber Reeves escapes from prison, Rogers' son becomes anxious due to his affair with Reeves' wife. As fear spreads throughout the town, Calder's goal is to capture Reeves alive and unharmed, despite facing opposition from both Rogers and the townspeople.
