In the midst of a zombie outbreak in West Africa, Lieutenant Brian Murphy, the sole survivor of a plane crash, forms an unlikely alliance with Daniel Dembele, a local soldier searching for his son. As they navigate through treacherous terrain, they face numerous challenges, including zombie hordes, broken-down vehicles, and treacherous terrain. Along the way, Daniel succumbs to his wounds, and Brian is left to continue the journey alone. Eventually, Brian reaches a military base, where he uses a radio to contact a fellow American officer and learns that the outbreak has spread to the United States. With the base overrun by zombies, Brian is forced to face the overwhelming horde alone, ultimately finding solace in the company of Daniel's son.
