John Travolta, a renowned art forger, forms an alliance with a crime syndicate to secure an early release from prison, but in exchange, he must execute a seemingly impossible task: create a flawless Monet replica, steal the original from a museum, and replace it with the fake without detection. With the help of his father, Christopher Plummer, and son, Tye Sheridan, they orchestrate the heist of a lifetime.
