Byron Tiller, a struggling writer, is desperate to make ends meet after his last novel flops. He meets Luther Fox, the owner of an escort agency, Elysian Fields, which provides wealthy women with attractive dates. Desperate for a job, Byron agrees to work for the agency, hiding it from his wife. He soon finds himself in a world he can't believe, face-to-face with an attractive woman whose aging husband is a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist.
