American industrialist Sam Laker, fresh from winning an international design award, embarks on a trip to East Germany with his 10-year-old son, planning to showcase his invention at a trade show. Unbeknownst to him, a British Intelligence officer from his Second World War past uses the trip as a chance to manipulate Laker into carrying out a deadly mission.
