In a mystical world, a painter left an unfinished masterpiece, featuring a château, gardens, and a foreboding forest. The painting is inhabited by three types of characters: the Toupins, fully realized figures; the Pafinis, lacking a few colors; and the Reufs, mere sketches. The Toupins, convinced of their superiority, seize control of the château, enslaving the Reufs. Believing only the Painter can restore balance, Ramo, Lola, and Plume embark on a quest to find him. Along the way, they uncover a trail of mysteries, including the Painter's disappearance, the reason for his abandonment, and the destruction of some of his works. Will they eventually uncover the Painter's secrets?
