A ruthless thief steals the last of a young couple's money just before their wedding. However, the gang leader, sympathetic to their plight, returns their cash and takes them under his protection. The thief, bitter about being overshadowed, plots a rebellion against the leader, but his own demise in a failed heist leads the police to mistakenly target the innocent couple.
