The Pumpkin Eater

Jake Armitage, a screenwriter, and his wife Jo, a mother of six, live in London with their children from Jo's previous marriages. Jo's marriage to Jake is strained due to her suspicions of his infidelity and her own desires for sex, which she finds vulgar. As they prepare to move back to the English countryside, both Jo and Jake must confront their own feelings and decide if their marriage can survive its many challenges.
