In the small town of Red Dog, a prospector named Bill Joyce has struck gold, but his celebration is cut short when his cowhands abandon him. Tom Rigby, a cowboy, arrives to persuade them to stay and work instead of seeking their own fortune. Meanwhile, Joyce's young daughter, Betty, is left waiting outside, forgotten by her father. As tensions rise, Joyce is shot and killed, and his map to the gold mine is stolen. Tom takes the map and tears it into three pieces, giving one to each of the men involved and keeping the third for himself. As the story unfolds, Tom's intentions are revealed, and he sets out to locate the mine, accompanied by Joyce's sister Helen and the shady doctor, Larribee.
The Rider of Death Valley
