Eric Coyle, a 19-year-old, is released from prison after informing on his drug dealer, Benny. He re-establishes his old life, including his girlfriend Heather, former pimp Dolores, and his regular client Tommy. Desperate to create a sense of family, Eric manipulates Tommy into providing him with an apartment, a used car, and a job, and moves Heather in. However, things quickly unravel when Benny is brought in for questioning.
